Our Club
Dear Glastonbury Lacrosse Community,
As lacrosse continues to evolve across Connecticut, so do our priorities. After months of reflection and conversations with clubs around the state, the Glastonbury Lacrosse Club Board is excited to share an updated Mission Statement and Core Values—a renewed commitment to our players, families, community, and the game of lacrosse.
Our Mission
Since 1990, Glastonbury Lacrosse Club (GLC) has provided boys and girls with grade-level lacrosse programs that are open to every interested player, regardless of experience or ability to pay.
Volunteer-run and family-driven, GLC focuses on teaching fundamentals in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment. Our programs complement multi-sport athletes while helping every child grow as a player, teammate, and person.
Why Grade-Level Programming Matters
Our grade-level approach allows us to:
- Provide age-appropriate coaching that builds skills and confidence.
- Keep lacrosse fun and social by allowing children to learn and compete alongside their peers.
- Offer measured competition that develops teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship.
Love of the Game
Our goal is simple: every player should finish the season with a deeper love of lacrosse.
For some, lacrosse may become a lifelong passion. For others, it may be a seasonal sport or simply a chance to enjoy being part of a team. We support every path by emphasizing fundamentals, inclusivity, fun, and personal growth.

How You Can Help
GLC is strongest when our community gets involved.
- Volunteer as a coach, assistant coach, team manager, or event helper.
- Share feedback about what is working and where we can improve.
- Invite friends and neighbors to join—our programs are open to all Glastonbury children.
